Really appreciated having an opportunity to better understand the Drupal community and its efforts and plans for improving accessibility, and to find out how I might be able to contribute to this growing effort within the Drupal community.

Finally, a member of the group, also very talkative, let us know as she was leaving the room, that she had placed Drupal's accessibility info link in a tweet (very helpful). Though it left a bad taste in my mouth to find that just minute earlier she had publicly tweeted a "complaint" about one of the people in the room--an 'Eeyore', likely me. Why not just judiciously let the person know her concern in person, ask them to give others a chance to ask questions and get answers, rather than posting a complaint and quickly exiting? (Not helpful or respectful.)
