Designing for Accessibility

This BoF will discuss ways to craft more inclusive, accessible user experiences.

Accessibility is not about reducing everything down to the lowest common denominator; nor is it about abandoning branding, beauty, or creativity. It’s about designing a great experience while simultaneously maximizing the number of people invited to enjoy that experience.

Bring your questions, ideas, and solutions for achieving better designs for all users.

Also, be sure to check out the more general Accessibility BoF.

I will likely be unable to attend this one as it is at the same time as the Libraries BoF. I'll be in attendance at the one this afternoon at 5pm.

For others who may have missed this BoF, for me at least, it ended up really being mostly just a decent introduction to accessibility; what it is, why it is important, how to check pages, etc. It was not particularly related to anything regarding Drupal and how accessible (or not) it renders web pages. That was more the topic of the later accessibility BoF (5-6p).
Thanks Katte for the presentation link.

Thanks Kat (not Katte) for the tweet:
