This BoF discusses how to do crowdsourcing with Amazon Mechanical Turk (mturk.com). Basically, AMT is a platform where you can get cheap labor to do work for you for 1-3 cents per task. For example, you can hire AMT workers to contribute discussion threads to your forum, to test web pages, to transcribe text from audio clips, etc.
