Let's talk about D4D: Planning Design 4 Drupal - Bring Your Input

Going on four years, Design 4 Drupal (North America!), the community's first camp dedicated to design, now has been scheduled for June 30th and July 1st and we're excited to get the planning started. Like in previous years, camp will take place at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, MA. About 315+ Drupalists gather to discuss ideas, and take part in interactive sessions on the future of Drupal. focusing on everything from usability to technology from a design perspective. Everyone is welcomed.

We want to solicit 2012 participation both physically and virtually. There are several sub-committees to lead or take part in:

  • Website
  • Marketing
  • Session Planning
  • Sponsorship
  • Volunteers
  • Logistics (sub groups: Rooms/Food/Video/Audio)
  • Accounting

Ideally, you are familiar with the Drupal Community, have event passion DNA, and skills around the committee areas.

Last year's camp site is located here:

Due to awesome fundraising and the generosity of sponsors, many of whom are at DrupalCon, we were able to videographers to capture almost all the sessions with the exception of one (trainings were also not captured):

They were also archived in an index at MIT:

So who's interested? If you happen to live in a remote area where Drupal events don't happen as easily, but still want to be a part of our awesome community, come to the BoF and let's chat!
