Rooms...

I just searched on Hyatt's site and it's not turning up any available rooms for the week of DrupalCon. Are all the rooms gone? Or does Hyatt's site's room search suck?

Hey - I called the Hyatt Regency and the hotel is booked solid from the 19th to 21st. I ended up going with the Grand Hyatt a few blocks away, and I got a discount on my first night (Sunday), so cost wise, it almost evens out.

Here is a Google Hotel Finder search for the main dates in the approximate walking distance area. You may want to tweak the dates etc.

I just booked a non-refundable Queen Superior at Hotel Teatro for two nights via the Hotels.com link with the Google Hotel Finder, with taxes the grand total is $416.10. Teatro is a 7 minute walk (http://g.co/maps/q5ucy) to the convention center which is fine with me.

As much as I'd like to stay in one of the fancy expensive hotels, i've settled for a cheaper one. Ramada Inn Downtown den $65/night. Ill bus it to the convention center. I wont be there the entire conference.
