We have a discussion thread (http://groups.drupal.org/node/202888) going on the OpenID group about trying to convene an OpenID BoF. Probably makes sense to move it to these forums, though.

To my mind, the major points to cover are:

1. How do we put together workable implementations now (in D6 or D7)?
2. What direction is OpenID heading as a field (is Openid Connect the future)?

How do we build out the capabilities of Drupal to meet the directions the OpenID is headed? Should OpenID stay in core or move out to contrib?

I'm particularly interested in getting as many OpenID-related maintainers as possible so we can compare notes on where we stand and what the plans are but everyone's welcome. There's even talk of trying to arrange a Skype group-call for those who can't be there in meat-space.

Please chime in with questions, thoughts, issues you think should be addressed or if you'd like the details of the Skype thing if we are able to make that happen.
