You've heard about responsive, mobile-first websites, and have probably built a few at this point. But once you've mastered the basics, how can you really make these sites sing? Mobile users have a short attention span, and they stay happy when sites load FAST. Heavy files, extra assets, and other inefficiencies can cause page loads to drag. Come to this session and learn how to keep your mobile users active without sacrificing the richness that desktop users expect.

  • Feature detection using Modernizr or another solution.
  • Using script loaders to load only the CSS/JS needed.
  • Roundup of Drupal modules and themes that you can use today.
  • Mobile performance testing. Make sure your work is solid under various conditions.
